Vivian Dimond’s oceanfront spec mansion in Manalapan, listed at $59.9 million, found a buyer during the week of March 2 to March 8, according to Douglas Elliman’s Eklund-Gomes team.
The sale is part of a busy season for luxury real estate in Palm Beach County. During that week, buyers signed 32 contracts for properties priced at $3 million or more, totaling $304.9 million in asking volume and averaging 107 days on the market. The previous week saw 35 contracts worth $295.6 million.
The report tracks single-family homes and condos listed on the Beaches MLS. Last week, there were 52 new listings and a total of 1,292 active listings available. Of the properties that went under contract, 28 were single-family homes with an average asking price of $10.1 million and four were condos averaging $5.6 million each.
Dimond’s property at 1460 South Ocean Boulevard was the most expensive listing to go pending last week. Bayshore Grove Capital, led by Dimond, acquired the incomplete estate in 2024 after Nigerian oil mogul Onajite Okoloko lost it in foreclosure in 2023. The finished mansion spans nearly 20,000 square feet with six bedrooms and numerous amenities including indoor and outdoor pools, a tennis court, a large garage, and water frontage on both the ocean and Intracoastal Waterway.
The home has been listed since 2022 with prices as high as $87.5 million according to Zillow. Gary Pohrer with Serhant and Christopher Leavitt with Douglas Elliman are handling the listing.
Another notable transaction last week was a home at 433 Antigua Lane in Palm Beach listed for $24 million by Steven Hudson, CEO of ECN Capital.
