The Tallahassee Senior Center is inviting applications for the 2026 class of its Tallahassee Active LifeLong Leaders (TALL) program. The program, which is now in its 15th year, aims to encourage citizens aged 50 and older to engage more deeply with the community and civic life.

A preview event will be held on Tuesday, October 21, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Tallahassee Senior Center’s dining room at 1400 N. Monroe St. During this event, attendees can learn about the eight-week course and hear from past graduates about their experiences. Refreshments will be served.

The TALL program runs every Tuesday from January 20 to March 10 and covers a range of topics including arts and culture, business development, environment, health, human services, and public safety through site visits and interactive activities with local leaders.

Applicants must have an active email address, be able to attend all sessions, and show interest in promoting positive change through advocacy or volunteerism. Spaces are limited.

Applications are available at the preview party and online starting Wednesday, October 22. The deadline for applications is Monday, December 1.
