Tallahassee City Commission sets special meeting on hospital-university partnership

The Tallahassee City Commission is scheduled to hold a special meeting on October 1 at 9 a.m. in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall, located at 300 S. Adams Street. During the meeting, representatives from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital (TMH) and Florida State University will present information about their Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on transforming TMH into an academic health center. The commission will discuss the proposal, and the public will have an opportunity to provide input during a hearing.

A second public hearing regarding the partnership between TMH and Florida State University is set for October 22 at 6 p.m.
