The Royal Poinciana Plaza in Palm Beach has added two new retail tenants. ScandyCandy, a Swedish candy store founded by brothers Calle and Wille Olsed, opened on Saturday. La Coqueta, a British childrenswear boutique led by founder and creative director Celia Muñoz, began operations last month at The Current, a retail hub within the plaza.

ScandyCandy’s latest location marks its second U.S. outpost, with its first store located at 241 Miracle Mile in Coral Gables. La Coqueta also operates a store in Charleston, South Carolina.

The Royal Poinciana Plaza was originally developed in the 1950s and spans 192,000 square feet. It features luxury retail spaces, gardens, and two courtyards. WS Development of Boston holds the leasehold for the plaza. According to property records, ownership is held by a trust managed by Sidney Spiegel. The address for The Royal Poinciana Plaza is 340 Royal Poinciana Way.

Details regarding the size of space leased by ScandyCandy and La Coqueta were not disclosed.

In Boca Raton, Herman Law has expanded its headquarters at 1800 North Military Trail from 10,000 to 18,000 square feet. The law firm specializes in representing survivors of sexual abuse and employs about 200 people across eight offices nationwide—including locations in New York City; Buffalo; Los Angeles; San Diego; Sacramento—and plans to open an office in Baltimore.

Joe Freitas of CBRE represented the landlord during Herman Law’s expansion.

The office building at 1800 North Military Trail is part of Boca Center—a mixed-use complex that changed hands in 2022 when Macquarie Capital | Principal Finance partnered with Vanderbilt Office Properties to acquire most of Boca Center for $261.5 million. This included $76.1 million paid specifically for the four-story office building now occupied by Herman Law’s expanded headquarters. Macquarie Capital is part of Sydney-based Macquarie Group under CEO Shemara Wikramanayake; Vanderbilt Office Properties is based in Chicago and led by CEO Casey Wold.
