Southern IAM members meet in Biloxi to discuss strategies for union growth

IAM members from the Southern Territory recently convened in Biloxi, Mississippi for the Southern States Conference. The meeting focused on ways to enhance solidarity and increase both legislative and political influence in the region. Delegates and union leaders addressed strategies to protect workers’ rights, expand union membership, and promote policies that benefit working families in southern states.

The conference provided an opportunity for attendees to discuss challenges facing workers and share approaches to building a stronger presence for the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) across the South.
