More than 25,000 people attended the Sing Out Loud Festival’s Live Wildly Showcase at Francis Field in St. Augustine, Florida, on September 20 and 21. The event featured 14 musical acts and was designed to promote both live music and land conservation efforts.

Attendees traveled from all U.S. states, territories such as Puerto Rico and Guam, as well as 12 other countries. There was a notable demand for the full weekend experience, with three times more two-day passes sold compared to single-day tickets.

The lineup included headliners Hozier, Beabadoobee, Vance Joy, and The Teskey Brothers. Hozier performed popular songs including “Take Me to Church” and “Too Sweet.” Other artists such as Beabadoobee, Vance Joy—who played an additional late-night set at a local venue—and Sombr also drew large crowds. Local talent was represented by Taylor Olin & The Something Specials and Sun Child.

Festival organizers emphasized education about Florida’s natural habitats alongside the concerts. Activities included interactive trivia about state parks and wildlife, a tent simulating the environment of Florida springs, photo opportunities with inflatable representations of native animals, and engagement with local conservation groups.

The festival raised over $130,000 through ticket sales for land conservation projects in St. Johns County.

“This festival isn’t just about music – it’s about community, connection, and protecting what makes Florida so unique,” said Gabe Pellicer, CEO & President of SJC Cultural Events, Inc., which produces the festival. “Bringing thousands of people together for live music and conservation delivers real impact and we’re incredibly proud of what this festival has achieved.”

Lisa Shipley, CEO of the Live Wildly Foundation added: “It’s truly inspiring to witness such a strong show of support for wild Florida, especially right here in St. Johns County, where these efforts will directly benefit local conservation. We’re honored to collaborate on a festival that brings people together through music while also deepening our collective dedication to protecting wild Florida for future generations.”

Sing Out Loud Festival is produced by SJC Cultural Events, Inc., which operates several concert venues in St. Augustine including the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.

The annual event continues to draw visitors globally while highlighting environmental stewardship in the region.
