A mansion in the Seminole Landing community of North Palm Beach led luxury home contracts in Palm Beach County last week, according to a report from Douglas Elliman’s Eklund-Gomes team. Between October 13 and October 19, buyers signed 11 contracts for high-end properties in the county, totaling $67.4 million in asking prices. The homes averaged 119 days on the market.
The previous week saw 10 contracts with a combined asking price of $47.6 million.
The Eklund-Gomes report monitors signed contracts for single-family homes and condos listed at $3 million or more in the Beaches MLS. Last week, there were 58 new listings and a total of 1,078 active listings.
All pending sales last week were single-family homes, with an average asking price of $6.1 million or $1,151 per square foot.
The highest-priced home to go under contract was a 9,200-square-foot mansion at 1162 Banyan Estates Drive in Seminole Landing, listed at $15.9 million. Property records show Monica and David J. Hill bought the property for $1.9 million in 2017 and completed construction on the mansion in 2020. The home features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, three half-bathrooms, a pool, spa, putting green, half-basketball court, and pickleball court. “It listed for $19.2 million last year, and the Hills dropped the price four times,” according to Zillow data referenced in the listing by Elliot Koolik and Richard Entel with Compass.
The second most expensive contract was for a 6,200-square-foot home at 10960 Monte Rosa Drive in Palm Beach Gardens with an asking price of $7.3 million. This property will be among the first closings in Panther National golf community developed by Centaur Holdings led by Dominik Senn. The development is planned for 218 single-family homes and has reached over $330 million in presales since its launch in 2023. The house includes five bedrooms, four bathrooms, two half-bathrooms and a pool; it was designed by Max Strang. Jonas Mikals with Living by IMI holds this listing.
The home at Monte Rosa Drive entered the market last year at its current asking price of $7.3 million.
