Pensacola has introduced its first two rooftop venues, marking a new development in the city’s hospitality offerings. The addition of these spaces aims to enhance the destination’s appeal for both residents and visitors.
Several new restaurants have opened in Pensacola, expanding the range of coastal flavors available in the area.
The city continues to invest in outdoor attractions and experiences. The Bruce Beach project, located near downtown Pensacola, has reached a milestone with the completion of its second phase on November 8, 2024. This initiative reclaims and revitalizes a historic African American swimming and recreation site, offering renewed public access and amenities.
Another infrastructure improvement is the completion of the Perdido Key Multi-use Path in 2024. This trail improves bike and pedestrian access throughout Perdido Key by connecting recreational areas, beach entry points, and neighborhoods. The project supports eco-friendly travel options while increasing safety for non-vehicular movement across the region.
A new recreational venue, Portside Pickle, is scheduled to open in July 2025.
