Members of District 77 in Minnesota have participated in Unity One Credit Union’s annual Toys for Tots drive, supporting families in need during the holiday season. Locals 737 and 459 both approved funding motions that provided a significant portion of this year’s contributions, which helped supply toys to children throughout the community.

Union members took part by shopping for toys and delivering them, resulting in more than $1,600 worth of donated toys being distributed to local families this season.

“IAM Midwest Territory General Vice President Sam Cicinelli said, ‘District 77 and its locals came together to make a difference for families during the holidays. Their effort speaks volumes about who we are as a union. I’m proud of the work our members continue to do in their communities.’”

“IAM Local 737 President Eric Jorgensen stated, ‘Supporting Toys for Tots reflects the spirit of solidarity our members show all year. Locals 737 and 459 didn’t just contribute funds, they put in the time, energy, and heart to make sure kids in our community feel the joy of the season. I’m proud of the generosity our members continue to demonstrate.’”

District 77 emphasizes that giving back is an important tradition and that they are committed to helping bring joy to local families during the holidays.
