Pollster Mark Penn and his wife, Nancy Jacobson, have purchased a waterfront mansion on Pine Tree Drive in Miami Beach for $17.5 million. The sale price is $5 million less than the property’s most recent listing.

The couple acquired the home at 5785 Pine Tree Drive from Pinetree Holding Corporation, which is managed by Mohammad Eleyyan of Staten Island, according to public records. Andrew Katz with Howard Chase Real Estate represented the buyers, while Albert Justo and Mirce Curkoski with One Sotheby’s International Realty handled the listing.

Mark Penn is known as chairman of Harris Poll based in Chicago, a partner in the Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll, and chairman and CEO of marketing firm Stagwell. He has also served as an advisor to Bill and Hillary Clinton during their campaigns in the 1990s and 2000s.

Property records show that Eleyyan bought the 0.3-acre lot for $1.9 million in 2011. He completed construction of the nearly 11,000-square-foot mansion in 2023. The residence features eight bedrooms, six bathrooms, two half-bathrooms, a pool, a dock, and 79 feet of waterfront access. According to the listing information, it was sold fully furnished.

Eleyyan initially listed the property for $22.9 million in 2021 before raising it to $24.9 million in 2022 and later reducing it to $22.5 million last year.

This transaction adds to a series of high-value sales on Miami Beach’s waterfront streets.
