Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation has appointed Max Beyderman as senior managing director in its Fort Lauderdale office. According to the company, Beyderman will be responsible for commercial debt and equity financing across different asset classes. His professional background includes a recent period of self-employment as a commercial finance specialist, and prior to that, he served as managing director at Meridian Capital Group from 2006 to 2024.

In other hiring news, Thomas Burkett has joined Origin Construction in Miami as chief financial officer. According to his LinkedIn profile, Burkett previously held the same role at Butters Group for five months and was senior vice president of finance at Hernandez Construction & Development for nearly four years.

Brown Harris Stevens announced new agent hires in Miami-Dade County. Anamaria Ferrao, Maayan Alishayev, and Maria Pellegrini are joining the Miami Beach office. Mariona Bosca, Natalie Scherr, and Noelia Espinales are joining the South Miami office. The firm brought on David Deza as managing director of the Miami Beach office in May; since then, he has led recruitment efforts for Brown Harris Stevens’ Miami offices.
