Dozens of workers from Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico, joined by supporters, gathered at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and at the company’s facility in Aguadilla to protest against what they describe as anti-union practices by the company. The demonstrators called on Lufthansa Technik to stop actions they say are aimed at undermining union efforts and dividing employees.

The workers emphasized their role in ensuring aircraft safety and demanded respect from the company. They urged Lufthansa Technik to end tactics that target unionized employees and to recognize the contributions of its workforce.

According to the group, their message to the company is clear: “stop the union-busting tactics, end the efforts to divide workers, and respect the professionals who keep aircraft flying safely every day.”

The protest reflects ongoing tensions between labor groups and management at Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico over unionization efforts.
