Miniso, a retailer specializing in children’s toys and popular merchandise, plans to open a 4,700-square-foot store this summer.

Additional openings are expected later this year at the complex. Joe & The Juice is set to occupy a 2,400-square-foot location in the fall. Entertainment venues The Escape Game and Great Big Game Show will share a combined 4,900-square-foot venue. Zho by Bol Hospitality is scheduled to debut late this year with a 6,700-square-foot restaurant featuring Chinese cuisine prepared with Japanese techniques.

Dania Pointe was developed by Kimco Realty of Jericho, New York. The master-planned project covers 102 acres at 139 South Compass Way near Interstate 95 and Stirling Road. It includes about one million square feet dedicated to retail stores, restaurants, entertainment options, hotels, apartments, condominiums and the headquarters of Spirit Airlines. Kimco is led by CEO Conor Flynn.

In Hallandale Beach, Grupo Eco’s Atlantic Village office and retail center has also signed two new tenants. OakBerry will begin operations this month in a 718-square-foot unit while The Lab Vitality Club plans to open during the summer in a space measuring 2,300 square feet. These additions follow recent leases signed by restaurants The Wagyu House and Murano by Ferraro—both now open—and virtual golf venue Tee Box which expects to launch next month.

Grupo Eco originated in Mexico and has maintained an active presence in South Florida for over ten years. Its Atlantic Village complex totals approximately 308,800 square feet at 801 North Federal Highway.

French-inspired café maman announced three new leases totaling about 8,500 square feet across Palm Beach County as part of its ongoing regional expansion. According to the company’s news release, maman—which was co-founded by Elisa Marshall and Benjamin Sormonte in Soho in 2014—will open locations at Shadowood Square (9959 Glades Road near Boca Raton), The Shops at Boca Center (5250 Town Center Circle in Boca Raton), and downtown Delray Beach (40 South Swinton Avenue) during the third quarter of this year.

The café continues to grow its footprint throughout South Florida with existing or planned sites in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood as well as Edgewater and Wynwood; other locations include Coral Gables and West Palm Beach. Edens owns Shadowood Square after purchasing it for $88.4 million last year; Site Centers acquired The Shops at Boca Center along with adjacent properties for $85.8 million two years ago; Pebb Capital’s Sundy Village mixed-use project houses the Delray Beach location.

H&H Bagels plans to enter Miami-Dade County with its first local shop opening later this year at Pinecrest’s shopping plaza (11311 South Dixie Highway). Franchisee Dylan Levin will operate the new outpost occupying approximately 1,600 square feet according to H&H Bagels’ announcement. Current locations include Boca Raton and West Palm Beach with additional shops slated for Palm Beach Gardens as well as Wynwood/Midtown Miami areas. Records indicate DPF Suniland—affiliated with Ares Real Estate Income Trust—owns the Pinecrest plaza.

Cozen O’Connor law firm recently opened an office on East Las Olas Boulevard in downtown Fort Lauderdale where it currently operates from temporary premises until securing permanent space according to both the company’s statement and spokesperson Erica Rutner who serves as managing partner of the office. In 2022 Macquarie Group of Sydney acquired the three-story building for $45 million but details regarding Cozen O’Connor’s leased area were not disclosed.
