IAM members at Atlantic Aviation Teterboro have approved a new collective bargaining agreement that brings changes to wages, benefits, and working conditions. The contract, negotiated by IAM District 142, includes wage increases for all job classifications, a $1,500 signing bonus, retroactive pay back to the contract’s expiration date, and additional premium increases. Other provisions address sick time buyback, vacation accrual improvements, updated surveillance language, progressive discipline language, and shift language.

“This agreement reflects the power of union solidarity and the commitment of our members at Atlantic Aviation TEB,” said IAM Air Transport Territory General Vice President Richie Johnsen. “This contract was won by the hard work, unity, and determination of our membership.”

The IAM District 142 negotiating team plans to work with company leadership to ensure proper implementation of the new terms.

“This contract delivers meaningful economic gains and important workplace protections,” said IAM District 142 President and Directing General Chair John M. Coveny, Jr. “It’s what our members fought for and what they have more than earned.”

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers states it will continue efforts to support its members through collective action and strong contracts.
