The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has announced an extension for the registration deadline for its Retirees Education and Strategy Program (RESP), which will take place at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Maryland from September 21 to 26, 2025.

Registrations for the program must now be received by Monday, August 18, 2025.

The RESP is organized by the IAM Retirees and Membership Assistance Department. The program provides education and resources for retired and nearly retired members on issues that affect them. It aims to give IAM retirees skills and tools to help other retirees with concerns such as organizing retiree clubs, understanding legislative strategies, navigating Social Security and Medicare programs, developing action plans for retiree clubs, participating in Alliance for Retired Americans activities, and recruiting volunteers among retired members.

For further information about the program or questions regarding registration, individuals are encouraged to contact the Retirees and Membership Assistance Department at 301-967-4717.
