IAM District 160 organized a fundraising event at Topgolf in Renton, Washington, raising over $30,000 for Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines (GDA | TLC). The gathering brought together more than 100 members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), along with their families and supporters. Activities included golf games, bingo, raffle prizes, and a silent auction.

The funds raised will support GDA | TLC’s mission to provide trained service dogs at no cost to individuals who are blind or visually impaired, veterans, and children with autism. The IAM has maintained a longstanding relationship with the organization.

“The IAM’s commitment to Guide Dogs of America goes back decades,” said IAM Western Territory General Vice President Robert “Bobby” Martinez. “Our members have always answered the call to give back, and this fundraiser is another example of the compassion and strength that defines our union family.”

The event was led by Zac Collins, Business Representative for IAM District 160.

Over the years, IAM has contributed millions of dollars to GDA | TLC through various initiatives.
