Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs, near Naples, has announced plans for a multi-million-dollar renovation of its meeting and event spaces. The work is scheduled to begin in mid-July and is expected to be completed by early fall.

“We are incredibly excited to introduce these reimagined spaces later this year, designed to inspire and connect,” said Rhett Wilson, Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa. “By capturing the essence of our serene natural setting, this project will enhance both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the spaces with nods to our surrounding environment, offering an ideal backdrop to drive meaningful meetings and elegant event experiences.”

The planned updates include new carpeting, wall coverings, and artwork that reflect the gulf-side location. Lighting fixtures will also be replaced, including a mesh chandelier in the Estero Ballroom designed to resemble a conch shell, as well as Preciosa lighting installations throughout other areas.

The Calusa Ballroom Terrace will see improvements such as new pavers, upgraded lighting, integrated turf, and redesigned landscaping. Other enhancements involve updating the registration desk area with digital signage bordered by custom wood millwork and modernizing restrooms with stone tones, greens, blues, wooden vanities, and new fixtures.

This renovation follows several recent upgrades at the resort: a full guestroom renovation in 2022; redesigns of Tarpon Bay restaurant and water park features in 2023; and updates to Tanglewood – A Southern Kitchen with coastal design elements introduced in 2024.

Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa offers 82,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space. Outdoor venues include Belvedere Terrace with fountains and waterfalls; Banyan Courtyard featuring live oak trees; Royal Palm; and Cypress Courtyards surrounded by palm trees. Indoor facilities consist of the Calusa Ballroom (14,000 square feet), Estero Ballroom (7,000 square feet), smaller rooms like Blue Heron and Great Egret with tropical views, as well as The Cove private dining room at Tarpon Bay restaurant.

Guests can access Big Hickory Island—a part of Estero Bay Ecological Preserve—while groups have options for off-site activities such as deep sea fishing or kayak excursions through partnerships with Global Works Events.
