Florida State University Trustee Brian Murphy will deliver the keynote address at the 2026 Seminole 100 celebration, scheduled for Saturday, February 21, at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

The Seminole 100 event recognizes and honors the fastest-growing businesses owned or led by FSU alumni. It is held annually to highlight entrepreneurial achievements and the influence of FSU graduates in various sectors.

Brian Murphy is the founder and CEO of ReliaQuest, a company specializing in AI-driven cybersecurity. Under his leadership, ReliaQuest has expanded from a startup to an enterprise valued at over $3.4 billion. The company serves more than 1,000 customers with a workforce of 1,200 across six international operations centers. Its AI security operations platform, GreyMatter, assists organizations in increasing visibility and managing risk by detecting and responding to threats in under five minutes.

ReliaQuest has appeared on the Seminole 100 list five times and has received multiple recognitions including Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Technology and Inc.’s Top Workplaces. In addition, it was named Fast Company’s Innovation Team of the Year in 2020 and has consistently ranked on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 list for North America’s fastest-growing technology companies.

Murphy’s professional honors include induction into the FSU Herbert Wertheim College of Business Hall of Fame in 2022 and being named one of Goldman Sachs’ most exceptional entrepreneurs in 2023. He also received EY Entrepreneur of the Year recognition in 2017 and Junior Achievement’s Vanguard Award in 2020 for his contributions to youth education and development. He currently serves as board chairman and Founders Circle member for Embarc Collective.

Murphy graduated from Florida State University with bachelor’s degrees in accounting and finance in 2000 before starting his career at PwC. He is also a member of both the Florida State University Board of Trustees and the FSU Herbert Wertheim College of Business Board of Governors.

The Seminole 100 celebration is organized by the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship along with the FSU Alumni Association, with support from gold sponsor GMF Steel Group.
