Florida State University’s Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship has introduced the InNOLEvation Marketplace, an online platform designed to promote and support student-run businesses. The new initiative aims to provide students with a space to showcase their products and services through professional storefronts, offering increased visibility and direct access to customers.

The InNOLEvation Marketplace is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to offer experiential learning opportunities. Students can use the platform to develop skills in branding, marketing, customer engagement, and business operations. Each business profile includes links to the student’s own website or social media page, making it easier for buyers to learn more about offerings and make purchases.

According to the college, “The Marketplace serves as a hub where FSU creators can showcase their products and services through professional storefronts, giving them visibility and access to customers.” The college also stated, “Developed as part of the college’s ongoing commitment to experiential learning, the InNOLEvation Marketplace provides students with an e-commerce environment to practice branding, marketing, customer engagement and business operations.”

The platform is open to all Florida State University students at no cost. It welcomes participation from students across all majors and levels of experience. The goal is to provide a supportive environment for those running established businesses as well as those experimenting with new ideas.

“The platform represents a significant step toward expanding entrepreneurial opportunities for students of all majors and experience levels. Any FSU student with a product or service can join the Marketplace, and participation is free. Whether a student is running a full business or simply exploring an idea, the platform offers a supportive space to grow, experiment and gain exposure,” according to the press release.

The Marketplace also encourages collaboration among creators within FSU and with local supporters by making it easier for ventures to be discovered. New businesses are added throughout the year.

Some of the current featured brands include ArtbyBrianne (original prints and jewelry holders), Bug’s Beads (custom beaded jewelry), Thriftly (a peer-to-peer buying/selling platform), and Knots and Hooks (crocheted designs).

Students interested in joining can sign up through the application website or explore current businesses at innolevationmarketplace.fsu.edu. Updates are available on Instagram at @InNOLEvationMarketplace.
