Florida State University will host the Seminole Futures Recruitment Series from February 3 to February 13 at multiple campus locations. The event, organized by FSU’s Career Center within the Division of Student Affairs, is open to students of all majors and class levels.

The Seminole Futures series spans seven days and aims to guide students through career exploration, helping them prepare for internships or full-time positions after graduation. Students will have opportunities to connect with a range of employers, expand their professional networks, and explore different career paths.

FSU’s focus on career readiness recently earned it the No. 13 spot on The Princeton Review’s 2025 list of the Top 20 Best Schools for Internships among public universities in the United States.

“Our primary objective is to ensure our students are equipped, empowered and employed,” said Rob Liddell, assistant vice president for Career Services. “The Seminole Futures series provides interactive, experience-driven engagement that supports student success and assists our employer partners with the next generation of professional workers.”

During the recruitment series, students can participate in activities such as taking professional headshots, resume reviews, and receiving interview tips from Career Center staff.

A central event in the series is the Seminole Futures Job & Internship Fair scheduled for Thursday, February 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the FSU Student Union. More than 70 employers from various industries—including Insight Global, Enterprise Mobility, NewDay USA, and ReliaQuest—will be present to discuss early career opportunities.

“We are thrilled to host the Seminole Futures Fair at the Student Union this spring,” said Christy Mantzanas, employer relations program director at the FSU Career Center. “This centralized location cultivates a vibrant, energetic networking environment that will benefit our students and employer representatives.”

Justin Mohabir, a finance and accounting student who participated in last fall’s Seminole Futures series, commented: “Every event challenged me to grow a little more outside my comfort zone. Each conversation with employers became smoother, and I could see my confidence, communication and networking skills strengthening with every interaction.”

Key events include:
– Dedman College of Hospitality Career & Internship Expo on February 3
– Engineering Employer Resume Review Day on February 5
– Prepare for the Fair with the Career Center on February 6
– Engineering Job & Internship Fair on February 10
– Virtual Spring Summer Camp Job Fair on February 11
– Engineering & Seminole Futures Interview Days on February 11 and February 13

The FSU Career Center also offers ongoing services such as one-on-one advising, resume workshops, mock interviews, internship search support, and resources for exploring academic majors—all designed to help students achieve their professional goals.
