The Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship at Florida State University has been recognized as a Top 10 public undergraduate entrepreneurship program by The Princeton Review’s 2026 rankings. The college also placed second in both the South and the state of Florida, and was ranked 18th overall among undergraduate entrepreneurship programs.
“Our students are job creators, problem solvers and change agents,” said Eric Liguori, associate dean at JMC. “We work every day to equip them with the skill sets and mindsets needed for entrepreneurial success. There’s never been a more exciting time to study entrepreneurship, and FSU continues its commitment to being world leaders in entrepreneurship education.”
The Princeton Review bases its evaluations on several factors such as course offerings, competitions hosted by the school, faculty experience, and alumni ventures.
In recent years, graduates from JMC have launched over 500 companies. The college offers more than 125 courses related to entrepreneurship and provides six hands-on laboratories for product development and textile testing. Students can choose from three undergraduate majors—commercial, STEM or retail—and ten minors through partnerships with other colleges across Florida State University.
At the graduate level, JMC offers a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship with specialized tracks including product development, social and sustainable enterprises, creative arts and hospitality. There is also a master’s program focused on textiles and apparel entrepreneurship. Faculty members bring practical business experience to their teaching roles.
JMC is home to the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship (JMI), which provides free programs for small business owners, nonprofit leaders, veterans, and aspiring entrepreneurs. With regional offices in Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa and Fort Lauderdale, JMC supports entrepreneurial activity throughout Florida.
