Florida State University has been recognized in The Princeton Review’s latest college rankings, achieving the No. 22 spot for Best Value public colleges nationally and the top position in Florida. The rankings are based on surveys from 170,000 students across 391 schools, who answered questions about academics, administration, campus life, and their peers.

Joe O’Shea, vice president for Student Academic Success at FSU, said: “Florida State University is deeply committed to academic excellence and to helping every student fulfill their highest potential. What’s very special is that students, regardless of family background or major, graduate at some of the highest rates in the country. FSU is an amazing place to be, where students can experience both a rigorous academic environment and a vibrant community where we all really care about and support one another.”

FSU was also ranked No. 1 in Florida for student satisfaction on the “Their Students Love These Colleges” list and placed second among public universities nationally in this category. This recognition reflects ongoing investments by FSU in student success initiatives and resources.

The university’s Career Center supports students with career services and events. FSU rose to No. 13 on the “Top 20 Best Schools for Internships (Public Schools)” list, making it the leading public institution in Florida for internships.

In addition to academics and career preparation, FSU was recognized for school spirit related to its intercollegiate sports teams, ranking No. 10 on The Princeton Review’s “Students Love Their School Teams” list. The university also earned a spot at No. 13 for best alumni networks among public schools.

FSU offers a variety of recreational options through facilities such as the Bobby E. Leach Center, Fitness & Movement Clinic, Lakefront Park, and other athletic venues. According to student survey responses cited by The Princeton Review rankings, FSU holds the No. 15 spot nationally—and first in Florida—for best athletic facilities.
