Destiny Neves has been appointed as the new Regional Director for Volusia County by the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association (FRLA). The organization highlighted her extensive experience in hospitality, noting over ten years of work in sales, client relations, and event coordination.

Neves previously worked as Sales Manager at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort. In that role, she surpassed multimillion-dollar revenue targets and developed partnerships across various sectors including government, education, social groups, and corporate markets. Her background also includes positions at several well-known properties in Daytona Beach such as The Plaza Resort and Spa, Perry’s Ocean Edge Resort, and the Daytona Beach Resort & Conference Center.

She has also been active with the Lodging & Hospitality Association of Volusia County. There she assisted the Board of Directors and helped organize key member events.

Carol Dover, President & CEO of FRLA, said: “Destiny’s track record of leadership, relationship building, and results in Volusia County makes her an outstanding addition to our team. Her insight into the needs of hoteliers, restaurateurs, and hospitality suppliers will be a tremendous benefit to our members and the local hospitality industry.”

In her new position with FRLA, Neves is expected to advocate for members while advancing initiatives focused on growth, workforce development, and support for Volusia County’s hospitality sector.

FRLA represents more than 10,000 members statewide including independent hoteliers and restaurateurs as well as major franchises and suppliers. The association works to protect Florida’s $112 billion hospitality industry through advocacy efforts along with providing training programs like Safe Staff via its subsidiary RCS Training. It also supports high school career-building programs through its Educational Foundation.
