The Florida Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced a virtual customer meeting for Gulfstream Utility, LLC customers on Tuesday, January 13, at 2:00 p.m. The meeting is intended for residents who receive wastewater service from Gulfstream in Orange County. Gulfstream filed an application with the FPSC in June 2025 seeking a rate increase. The company currently serves 965 residential customers and provides water through a bulk agreement with Orange County.

According to the FPSC, the purpose of the meeting is to give customers an opportunity to comment on both the quality of service provided by Gulfstream and the process of setting rates. The commission will consider all customer feedback when reviewing Gulfstream’s request for higher rates.

“All customer input will be considered by the Commission when it evaluates the utility’s rate increase request,” stated the FPSC.

Customers interested in speaking at the meeting must register ahead of time. Registration can be completed online via the FPSC’s speaker sign-up form under “Hot Topics” on its homepage. Those without internet access may register by phone at (850) 413-7080 or by email. Speaker registration opens at 9:00 a.m. on December 30 and closes at noon on January 9.

A live webcast of the event will also be available for those who wish to observe but not participate directly.
