MemberAssist, a new service aimed at helping members of the Florida Education Association (FEA), has been introduced to support educators and staff with daily stressors. The service is designed to assist teachers, support staff, and retired members by handling various personal and professional tasks.

According to the announcement, MemberAssist allows FEA members to delegate tasks such as understanding benefits, comparing insurance options, booking appointments, planning vacations, or finding local services. Requests are handled by real people rather than automated systems.

As stated in the release: “We help take stressors off your plate so you can focus on what matters most.Whether it’s understanding your benefits, comparing insurance options, booking an appointment, planning a vacation, or finding a trusted local service in a pinch—you can hand it off with a single request. A real person will handle it for you. No phone trees. No runaround. Just the support you need, when you need it.”

The service is free for FEA members but would otherwise cost $948 per year for the general public.

“MemberAssist is the extra set of hands you need.Because supporting you every day is how we strengthen your union, together,” according to the release.

The program aims to help educators manage their workload and daily responsibilities more effectively by offering personal assistance with time-consuming tasks.
