The Florida Chamber of Commerce will join other chambers across the United States in observing National Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day on October 15, 2025. The event aims to recognize the contributions of more than 200 local and regional chambers in Florida, which play a key role in community development, job creation, and advancing the Florida 2030 Blueprint.

Local chambers support businesses, develop talent, promote infrastructure projects, and advocate for policies that aim to improve Florida’s competitiveness. The Florida Chamber of Commerce describes these organizations as essential partners in achieving statewide economic goals.

“Local chambers are the heartbeat of Florida’s communities. They give businesses a voice, champion entrepreneurship, and bring the Florida 2030 Blueprint to life at the local level,” said Mark Wilson, President & CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce. “We’re proud to work to ensure Florida remains the best place in the world to live, work, learn, and do business with Florida’s local chamber network. As I’ve said many times, show me a strong community and I’ll show you a strong chamber.”

On October 15, the Florida Chamber plans to highlight local chambers that have shown leadership in workforce development, economic diversification, and community prosperity. The organization is encouraging businesses and community members to participate by tagging their local chamber, sharing stories of success, and using hashtags such as #SupportYourLocalChamber, #FloridaChamber, and #FloridaBusiness on social media.

The Florida Chamber of Commerce is the state’s largest federation of employers, chambers of commerce, and associations. It has represented Florida’s business community for over a century, focusing on economic opportunity and job growth. More information about the organization is available at floridachamber.com.
