Florida A&M University (FAMU) recently held the 2026 VEX Robotics Regional Tournament at its Tallahassee campus. The event drew about 31 teams from middle and high schools across Florida and South Georgia. Around 350 people, including coaches, volunteers, and spectators, attended the competition.
The tournament provided students with opportunities to engage in robotics and engineering activities. Winning teams from this regional event will move on to the state competition in Tampa in March. Those who succeed at the state level will advance to the national tournament scheduled later this year in Kentucky.
