Equiturn Holdings Inc., a financial advisory and capital-markets firm, has been named the fastest-growing business led by Florida State University (FSU) alumni on the 2026 Seminole 100 list. The company, founded in 2017 and headed by FSU graduate Joshua Orlinsky, received this recognition during the annual Seminole 100 celebration at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center in Tallahassee.

Equiturn Holdings provides guidance for organizations in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets strategy, and private capital solutions. The firm was also ranked first on last year’s Seminole 100 list and continues to expand within the financial services sector.

“Equiturn’s success reflects the remarkable drive and creativity of Florida State alumni,” said FSU President Richard McCullough. “Their ability to build, innovate and lead in competitive industries is a powerful example of what our graduates can accomplish. We are incredibly proud to celebrate their achievements and the positive impact they are making across Florida and beyond.”

Each year, FSU recognizes its top 100 alumni entrepreneurs through the Seminole 100 event. Companies are ranked based on compound annual growth rate over three years, with rankings verified by EY, a global financial services firm.

This year’s event featured keynote speaker Brian Murphy, an FSU trustee who is founder and CEO of ReliaQuest, a cybersecurity company valued at over $3.4 billion with more than 1,000 customers worldwide. Murphy holds degrees in accounting and finance from FSU.

The businesses recognized on this year’s list represent multiple sectors including technology, law, marketing, construction, healthcare, retail, as well as financial services. Of these companies, 64 are based in Florida while others come from twelve additional states. Forty-four companies appeared on the Seminole 100 for the first time this year.

Nominations for next year’s Seminole 100 list are open at https://seminole100.fsu.edu/. The complete ranking of honored businesses is also available at that website.

The Division of University Advancement manages efforts to strengthen FSU’s leadership position as well as private support for academics and athletics; it oversees both the Alumni Association and Foundation.

“The Florida State University Alumni Association reserves the right to verify that the nominees meet the criteria and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any nominee for any reason.”
