As the real estate market in South Florida enters a busy buying season, several firms are expanding their teams and leadership.

Compass has added the Champagne & Parisi Team, consisting of 78 agents, to its Boca Raton office. The team was previously known as Champagne & Parisi Real Estate and was established by Claude Champagne and Caesar Parisi in 2011. Their focus is on luxury properties in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Highland Beach, and Boynton Beach.

Earlier this year, Compass acquired Anywhere Real Estate for $1.6 billion. This move significantly impacted the industry and has been followed by continued local expansion. In July, Compass added the 40-agent Korman Group in Boca Raton, and in September brought on a 15-agent team in Stuart.

KW Property Management & Consulting (KWPMC) has appointed Jennifer Santaniello as regional vice president to oversee its Palm Beach County portfolio. According to a news release: “She will be focused on maximizing property values for condo and HOA properties.” Santaniello previously served as vice president of the Manhattan condo and co-op division at FirstService Residential.

KWPMC was also chosen as property manager for Forté on Flagler in West Palm Beach. The condominium project by Two Roads Development and Alpha Blue Ventures is a 25-story building with 40 units that began closings earlier this summer. Buyers include Fox News contributor Liz Peek, New York Times heiress Cynthia Sulzberger, and former Sotheby’s Holdings CEO Michael Ainslie.

Odevo, based in Sweden, acquired KWPMC from founder Paul Kaplan in 2022. Last year Kaplan became CEO of Odevo U.S., while Katalina Cruz was named CEO of KWPMC and senior vice president of Odevo U.S., with Jorge Lago promoted to president and chief operating officer of KWPMC earlier this year.

In another development, Illustrated Properties appointed Shane McCain as director of commercial real estate. McCain founded BluEdge Professional Real Estate in Palm Beach Gardens and is bringing seven associates from BluEdge to join him at Illustrated’s corporate headquarters.
