For the seventh consecutive year, Brevard Zoo has received a nomination as one of the best zoos in the United States by USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice awards.

In the previous year, Brevard Zoo was ranked No. 6 by this award. Since its opening in 1994, the zoo has served as a community-built space focused on connecting people with wildlife. Over three decades, it has expanded its efforts in animal wellbeing, conservation, and education.

Brevard Zoo’s membership program also continues to gain recognition. Last year, it was ranked as the No. 4 zoo membership program in the country by the same awards and is nominated again this year. Membership benefits include unlimited visits and early admission to the zoo.

Voting for both categories is open at https://10best.usatoday.com/awards/brevard-zoo-melbourne-florida/. A panel of experts and 10Best’s editorial team selected the nominees, while winners will be determined through public voting.

Voting remains open until Monday, March 9 at noon. The results will be announced on Wednesday, March 19 on the 10Best website.

Brevard Zoo houses more than 700 animals from 170 species globally and operates as a not-for-profit organization focusing on animal wellness, education, and conservation.
