Amelia Island will host its annual Restaurant Week from January 16 to 25, featuring 24 locally owned restaurants. The event, organized by the Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), aims to highlight the island’s culinary diversity and support small businesses during a typically slow period for tourism.

“Every year, Restaurant Week gives us another chance to lift up the chefs, owners, and family-run establishments that are the heart of Amelia Island,” said Gil Langley, President and CEO of the Amelia Island CVB. “These restaurants aren’t just places to eat; they’re cornerstones of our community’s identity. Supporting them strengthens Amelia Island as a whole, and we’re proud to champion the small businesses that drive our culinary reputation.”

This year’s program emphasizes each restaurant’s signature dish or specialty—referred to as their “claim to fame”—which reflects their unique character and has built local followings. The participating venues offer a range of cuisines including Mediterranean dishes, coastal seafood classics, and chef-driven creations.

The CVB is collaborating with restaurants to increase reservations and attract more visitors during mid-week days. This effort supports local business owners while also encouraging residents and tourists to explore new dining options on the island.

Restaurant Week includes a variety of dining experiences such as fine dining, seafood-focused menus, Southern comfort food, and outdoor options. In addition to regular meals, two special events will bookend the week: an opening dinner titled “New Traditions” at Nonna Mia at Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa on January 15 will feature family-style Italian cuisine with seasonal ingredients; the closing dinner “A Taste of Every Table” at Salt at The Ritz-Carlton on January 25 will showcase four chefs de cuisine presenting personal favorites in a tasting format.
