Amazónico, a well-known restaurant with locations in Dubai, London, Madrid, and Monte Carlo, will open its first U.S. location in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood. The restaurant has leased approximately 40,000 square feet across three floors at the 800 Brickell office tower on Brickell Avenue. Babak Ebrahimzadeh of Gatsby Enterprises, which owns the building, confirmed the lease. The space includes Amazónico’s nightclub Selva on the top level.

The venues are scheduled to open late next month. According to Ebrahimzadeh, “The restaurant can seat about 700 guests at a time and host at least 1,300 guests per night.” Amazónico was founded in 2016 by Sandro Silva and Marta Seco in Madrid. They lead Paraguas Group, part of London-based hospitality group D.ream International.

Gatsby Enterprises is led by Ebrahimzadeh and Nader Ohebshalom. In 2019, the company purchased 800 Brickell and an adjacent garage for $125.5 million.
